Microsoft Excel – Level I
Initial registration accounts for all four (4) sessions.
This is an introductory course to study electronic spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel for Windows. Through videos, PDFs and hands-on experience, students will learn to develop and use electronic spreadsheets on the computer.
Learning Objectives:
• Design a basic worksheet
• Add and edit data in the worksheet
• Build formulas to produce useful results based on the existing data
• Format the spreadsheet with pleasing stylistic tool
Outline:
Introduction to the Excel environment
• How to enter/edit data
• Build simple formulas
• Use common pre-defined functions
• Build charts & graphs
• Review options involved with printing and page setup.
Beyond the basics
• Conditional formatting
• IF function analysis and implementation
• Use of absolute and relative cell references
This is a four (4) week series. It is required that you can attend all four (4) sessions at Santa Fe Community College – Main Campus, Computer Lab-Room 582.
