I hope this e-mail finds everyone well. Below is a link to sign-up for Boom-Scissor Lift Training. Each employee wishing to attend must sign up individually. The course is limited to 16 seats. It is being offered as first come first serve, the first fifteen employees to sign-up will have a seat reserved. If you get a seat reserved, please ensure your supervisor is notified of the course to allow adequate time for scheduling purposes.
Boom-Scissor Lift Training
When: 12/18/2025, Course will begin each day at 8:00am and end at approximately 4:00pm. Participants must attend full training to receive a certificate for the course.

Course Objectives: This training course provides workers with the knowledge and skills required to safely operate boom and scissor lifts in compliance with OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1910.67 & 1926.453). Participants will learn about hazard recognition, pre-use inspections, safe operating procedures, fall protection requirements, and emergency response. Through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on practice, trainees will gain the confidence to operate aerial lifts safely and efficiently, reducing workplace risks and ensuring compliance with industry safety standards. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certification of training.
Additional Information: By signing up for the course, you are committing yourself to attend. If you have a seat reserved and are not able to attend, notify Risk & Safety to cancel your seat so another employee can be scheduled.
