Course Objectives: The health hazards associated with exposure to respirable crystalline silica; tasks in the workplace that could result in exposure to respirable crystalline silica; measures to protect employees from exposure to respirable crystalline silica, including engineering controls, work practices, and respirators to be used.
Who should attend: Any employee who through the course of their work may be exposed to crystalline silica. (Parks, Wastewater, Facilities/CIP, Streets, Water T&D, Convention Center)
